

Kay Baldridge Campbell Brothers of Nashville, Tennessee, passed peacefully from this life on September 5, 2025. Kay was born on December 13, 1941, to Betty and Howard Baldridge who preceded her, along with her brother Howard Davis Baldridge, Jr. and her first husband, Neil Edward Campbell.
Kay graduated from Hillsboro High School and received an Associate of Arts Degree at Marjorie Webster Junior College in Washington, D.C. After returning to Nashville, she taught in the kindergarten department at Ensworth. A few years later she moved to New York City where she began her twenty-year career in passenger service with American Airlines. Kay’s career took her to Dallas to be a part of the opening of DFW airport where she met her husband, Neil. He was in management with American Airlines, and they spent most of their married life traveling and being transferred around the American Airlines system.
Later in life Kay renewed many old friendships in Nashville, one being her “first love” from high school, Donald Troup Brothers. Kay and Don enjoyed a fourteen-year marriage and many more years of friendship before that. Their life together was filled with joy and laughter.
Survived by husband, Don Brothers; sister, Beverly (Warren) Lewis, Plano, TX; nieces, Dr. Kay Lewis, Grapevine, TX, and Amy (Andy) Coolidge, Frisco, TX; nephew, Brian (Kristin) Lewis, Austin, TX and three great-nieces and a great-nephew.
She was also blessed with her extended family which she called her “bonus family”. Shari (Randy) Wilson, Brighton, MI; Dr. Don (Amy Baize) Brothers, Jr.; Lori Beth (Richard) Johnson; Tim (Amy Jones) Brothers; Meg (Stephen) Ballard, all from the Nashville area plus twenty grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Her family would like to thank her cherished friends for their support and members of Brentwood Baptist and First Baptist, Nashville for their visits and prayers. They would also like to thank Aubrey Austin, CRNP, and Catherine Conner, RN, and all the compassionate caregivers from homeRN who showed love and care for Kay.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday September 10, 2025 from 10:00 am until the Graveside Service 12:00pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
