Kenneth Lee Hodge was born on August 27, 1949 in Canton, OH to the late Hobart “Ray” and Lyda Hodge. He died on November 18, 2017 in Hendersonville, TN. He graduated from Akron University with a degree in electrical engineering.
Ken was a pilot and member of flying clubs in middle Tennessee. He built and flew his own plane, a Cessna, in the garage of his home in Franklin, TN which he also designed and built most of himself. He enjoyed bowling, sailing his sailboat on the lake in Tennessee and astronomy with his telescope.
Ken is survived by his children Tara (Hodge) & Aaron Oetting of Belvidere, IL, David and Kelly (Kerrigan) Hodge of Nashville, TN and their mother Marie “Kathie” Hodge of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Julie, Joshua & Katy Oetting and Milo Hodge, and his sister Linda (Hodge) & Allen Daugherty of New Philadelphia, OH.
Burial will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Canton, OH.
