My heart aches for Trey and the family. What a beautiful light Laura was and will always be through her family! I am grateful that Laura hired me 7 years ago and we became more than just co-workers. I called her my SHERO! I am saddened by her not being here, but she WON! Fly high Laura! Your infectious personality will live on forever!! 💜💜💜

I met Olivia in kindergarten, and we have been best friends ever since. We have had hundreds of sleepovers together and many shared family vacations. Pretty quickly Laura started referring to me as her blonde headed daughter,  then when Rachel came along, it only made sense that i was her sister! Laura was always so welcoming and loving as we were growing up. She had a dry sense of humor, that me and Olivia loved so much 😂
I started doing Laura’s hair and would spend a couple hours alone with her every month. We told each other our secrets and became very close during this time. We would call this our therapy sessions. She was so wise, so incredibly strong, and always drop dead gorgeous even when she felt her worse. She loved her family so much, and was determined to see them live as much life as she could. Her strength is a true inspiration. She made such a huge impact on my life. I will never forget her and will miss her tremendously 

I met Laura in 7th Grade at Knox Doss. I thought she was so sweet and funny and beautiful I wanted to be her friend so bad!!  We were immediately friends!!!  We always had a good time at school and at the skating rink or movies or wherever we were on the weekends. I moved to Murfreesboro halfway through 8th grade and we lost touch until we became FB friends a few years ago. I hate that I didn't get to see her in person but I think she knew I always prayed for her and sent her good thoughts and love!!!  Continued prayers for her family. I know she is singing with the Angels now but will be sorely missed. 🙏💔😢

Dear Trey and family--My deepest condolences on the loss of Laura.  She was a tremendous force in the world for all of us--intelligent and beautiful inside and out.  I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her, and to call her friend.  My hope is that the many wonderful memories that you have will carry you through this time of sadness, and erase the painful days of her illness.  All of you will be in our prayers.  

Laura and I were close when the kids were little. We reconnected in 2017 and picked up where we left off. She was always a joy. I’m so thankful for the time we had together in her last days. My heart is heavy for her family.
