Lillian Tallent Foster, age 93 of Nashville, departed this life on May 10, 2021. She was born on July 25, 1927 in Giles County, TN to the late, Lucy Bettie Prosser Tallent and George Henry Tallent. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband, Andrew Daniel Foster; daughter, Betty Gail Simpson; grandson, John Michael Foster; siblings, Mary Simpson, Gilbert Tallent, Carl Tallent and Leonard Tallent.
She is survived by sons, Harold Daniel (Brenda Kay) Foster of Memphis, TN Steven Neil (Debra) Foster of White Bluff, TN; Daughter, Marilyn Marie Bond of Nashville, TN, six grandchildren, David, James, Bobby, Elizabeth, Steven, Jr. and Nicholas; 16 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Lillian graduated from Beech Hill High School, and from Draughon's Business College with a Accounting Degree. She worked in several accounting roles in the Nashville area: General Shoe Company, Woodlawn Funeral Home and eventually retired from First American Bank as an Executive Secretary.
After retirement she worked for Ed Groves Reality. She loved to flip houses after retirement, loved going to church. Over the years, she loved bowling in the Nashville Women's Bowling Association, were she served as a local director. Her family was what she loved the most, and will she will be missed.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from one thirty until three thirty in the afternoon on Thursday, 13, 2021 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at three-thirty in the afternoon on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Dignity hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. The service will be streamed live on Facebook @ Woodlawn-Roesch.
