Lillie Isabella Huff Grubbs, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Maplewood Rehabilitation Center in Jackson, TN. She was born on April 12, 1918 in Tennessee Ridge, TN, and passed away 4 weeks short of her 99th birthday. She is preceded by her husband, James Franklin Grubbs and daughter Dorothy Seavers. Survived by three daughters, Jeanette Stovall, Jane Coleman, and Sue Ella Brown; sister, Evon Pimer; brother, Robert Huff. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren. She has been a faithful Christian and members of Judson Baptist Church in Nashville since 1946, where she leaves many friends. She was a 50 year plus member of Claiborne Chapter #144, Order of the Eastern Star in Nashville, and enjoyed her many friendships. Visitation will be Monday evening, March 13, 2017 from four o'clock until eight o'clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Celebration of life service will be Tuesday at twelve o’clock noon at Judson Baptist Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
