Margaret Corder Bacigalupo of Nashville passed away on September 12, 2023. The daughter of Janie and Walter Corder, she was preceded in death by husband, David L (D.L.) and daughter, Lee Bacigalupo Conley. She is survived by a son, David (Amy), grandsons Michael (Marsha), Daniel (Angela), Mark (Summer) all of North Carolina and Nicholas (Heather) of Nashville, 3 great-grandsons, and 2 nieces, Jan and Anita Edwards. In addition, devoted caregiver, Deborah Marasa, and special friends, Susie Lamberth, Cindy Hollister, Lena Hampton, Danny Williams, and Steve Mars. Margaret graduated from East High School and attended George Peabody College for Teachers. She worked for the County Clerk of Davidson County and at Irwin Furniture. She was a member of Una Church of Christ.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery at approximately 1:00 p.m. The family will be available for visitation at Woodlawn on Monday night from 5-7 p.m. and before the service from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday morning.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Childrens’ Hospital, Shriners Childrens’ Hospital, or Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
