Raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Floyd Sandusky and Maruth Q. Sandusky. She attended Stratford High School and later built a career as a credit and collections specialist at General Adhesives, where her dedication and work ethic earned her the respect of colleagues and clients alike. She retired after many years of service, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and perseverance.
A proud polio survivor, Margaret's strength and resilience were evident in every chapter of her life. She had a deep and abiding love for animals, especially her cherished therapy cat, Thor, who brought her great comfort and companionship. Margaret was also a devoted basketball fan and rarely missed a Boston Celtics game on TV—cheering them on with unwavering passion.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Stephen Lewis Kimmey; her daughter, Serena King (Pierre Martin); her grandchildren Mikaelah Scharmberg; Hailey Denton (AJ); Kaz Myracle; and Nicholas Myracle; several great-grandchildren; and a dear uncle.
