Margie V Conner

She was preceded in death by her parents; Ruth Estelle and Haskell H. Hardaway, her husband of 59 years; Oscar Lee Conner, brother; Eugene Hardaway.

She is survived by her daughters; Teresa Spurlock, Vickie Conner, sister; Juanita Watson, brother; Jerry H. Hardaway and a host of nieces and nephews.

Margie was a graduate of Cumberland High School and an Accountant for the State of Tennessee Prison in West Nashville and the District Attorney’s Conference for the State of Tennessee.

Margie was known for being kind, giving, loving and would give you the shirt off her back. She always gave to the helpless. She would see the helpless and ask, “Are you hungry, Honey?” and then would buy them lunch. Margie enjoyed spending time with her daughters, reading, crossword puzzles, and going to Daytona Beach and Panama City Beach.

A gathering of family & friends for Margie will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A gathering of family & friends will occur Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A Celebration of life will occur Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
