Marshall Wayne Rumfelt

Marshall Wayne Rumfelt of Smyrna, Tennessee, went home to be with his Lord on July 22, 2017. He was born January 7, 1954. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Rumfelt; and brother, Edward Rumfelt. He is survived by his adoring wife, Wanda Rumfelt; daughter, Jeannie (Jason) Stinnett; grandson, Will Stinnett (his Superman); mother, Dot Rumfelt; sisters, Sharon (Deryl) Hodgens and Cindy (Terry) Berryhill; along with many nieces and nephews. He was an active member of Cane Ridge Free Will Baptist Church. As a General Contractor, Marshall touched the lives of all he worked with and was adored by everyone he came in contact with within the community. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Cane Ridge Free Will Baptist Church (13984 Old Hickory Blvd, Antioch, Tennessee 37013) for visitation from four to six o’clock in the evening, followed by a memorial service at six o’clock, also at the church. Brother Jason Willaford will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Hope Center (314 Tusculum Blvd, Greeneville, TN 37745) in his memory, as he loved the work of the Hope Center.
