A friend to humans and animals, Martha loved to help others. Even as she lost more of herself to dementia, she maintained her kind spirit and dry sense of humor. She was a favorite of those who cared for her. She was born January 2, 1938 to Sarah and Howard Fish in Nashville. She graduated from David Lipscomb High School and attended David Lipscomb College. She worked in several businesses in Nashville, retiring from Willis in 2000. She was a long time member of The Church of Christ at Green Hills.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald Winston (Sally) Fish.
She is survived by her sister, Marian (Roy) Ezell, nieces Meredith Ezell, Carole Ezell, and Debra (Carol McCullough) Fish of Nashville and nephew, Don Fish of California. She is also survived by grand-nieces Amelia and Evelyn Fish of Nashville and Sylvia Young of Lebanon and Sandra Long of White House.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 10:00am-11:30am at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Service of Remembrance to follow at 11:30am with Ronnie Farris officiating.
