McBRIDE, Martha Susan, passed away on Friday, the 9th of September 2011, at the age of 88. Sue is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh G. Parks. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Howard I. McBride Jr. and son Hugh H. McBride. She is survived by daughter Patricia “Patti” Hibbett (James L. “Jim” Hibbett Jr.); 2 grandsons James L. “Tripp” Hibbett, III and Patrick McBride “Mac” Hibbett; granddaughter Giny Suzanne McBride and 2 great granddaughters Edie and Ava Cressell. Mrs. McBride graduated from Chattanooga High School and attended Tennessee Wesleyan College. She worked for TVA for 35 years and was a member of Blakemore United Methodist Church, Nashville Woman’s Club, All States Club, and American Legion Auxiliary. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from three until six o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the 11th of September, at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A small Graveside Service will be held at 11:30AM in the morning on Monday, the 12th of September, at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
