Mrs. Beard was born on August 24, 1924 in Baxter TN, daughter of the late Robert Mason Sewell and Sallie Ruth Allcorn.
Mrs. Beard was such a thoughtful, sweet and kindhearted woman to everyone she knew. She loved to spend her spare time fishing and traveling. She will truly be missed by all of her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Roy Beard; brothers, Ralph, Darse, Marcus, Warren; sister, Inez Shives.
Survivors include her brother, Robert Sewell; nieces, Jean L. Lewis, Denise Sewell Allen (Jeff) and Jeraldine; nephews, Roger and Walter Rutherford and Randall Stone; sisters, Ruby jean Rutherford and Dorothy Cole.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from ten-thirty in the morning until service time on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
