Mary Hill McFarland

She was born in LaGrange, Illinois, the only daughter of the late William and Eleanor Hill. She was a retired food services employee at Baptist Hospital and an active member of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Donelson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Lamar McFarland, and step-son, Donnie McFarland.

She is survived by brother-in-law, Eddie Conn (Judy) McFarland; step-children, Lorraine (Robert) Thorpe, Ronnie (Darlene) McFarland, and Rodger (Terri) McFarland, and several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, August 4, 2017 at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, August 5, 2017 at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church at 10:00 am with The Reverend Vicki T. Burgess officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Mount Hope Cemetery in Franklin, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions to be made to St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 85 Fairway Drive, Nashville, Tennessee 37214.
