THOMPSON, Mary Louise Age 86 of Nashville, passed away on the 14th of October, 2012. Preceded in death by husband, James D. Thompson, sociology professor at Vanderbilt University. Survived by children, Gregg R. (Doris) Thompson and Janet C. Thompson; cousin, Kelly Emory; and many family members and friends throughout the U.S. and abroad. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at eleven o'clock the morning of Saturday, the 20th of October, 2012 in the Chapel at First Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Todd Jones officiating. Friends are cordially invited to gather for visitation with the family that morning, beginning at half past nine in the Cheek House at First Presbyterian Church up until the time of service.
