Mike McCabe

Mike dedicated 38 years of his life to UPS, where he built a reputation for hard work, reliability, and friendship among his colleagues.

Above all else, Mike was a loving father and proud grandfather whose greatest joy in life was his family. He brought laughter wherever he went, always ready with a joke that could brighten anyone’s day. A devoted Vanderbilt football fan, Mike rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his team and share that enthusiasm with those he loved.

In his free time, Mike enjoyed being outdoors. Whether he was playing golf, enjoying a game of pickleball, or relaxing on the beach, he embraced life with warmth and energy. He was also known for his generous spirit—always willing to lend a helping hand, give his time, or simply be there when someone needed support.

Mike is survived by his sons, Justin and Derik; his beloved grandson, Jackson; and his siblings, Billy, Middie, Laura, Terry, Tommy, Jimmy, Lynn, and Bobby.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his big heart, his sense of humor, and his unwavering love for his family.

A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held at Mount Olivet Funeral Home & Cemetery, 1101 LEBANON PIKE, NASHVILLE, TN 37210, US, on March 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at Mount Olivet Funeral Home & Cemetery, 1101 LEBANON PIKE, NASHVILLE, TN 37210, US, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A Graveside Service will take place at Calvary Cemetery, 1001 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210, US, on March 25, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.
