Miriam Stovall; Age 96, May 26, 2026. Survived by her son, Dr. Thomas (Donna) Stovall; grandsons, Elliott (Katy) Stovall, Chris and Nick Creson; great grandchildren, Laurel and Grant Stovall; sister, Barbara Chapman and brother Gordon Inman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Mahlon; her brother Charles Inman and her sister Aleyene Bryant.
Miriam was a long-time member of Woodbine Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School for many years. She was an administrative assistant at both the Veteran’s Administration and Corp of Engineers.
Miriam’s life was marked by kindness, affection, devotion to her husband and family, God’s Word and her Savior, Jesus Christ. She leaves behind a legacy and generational blessing for her family.
Active Pallbearers are: Elliott Stovall, Chris Creson, Kerry Inman, Hooper Inman, Steve Bryant, Joel Bryant, Terry Chapman and Jeff Chapman.
Visitation will be at Woodlawn Cemetery on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with a graveside service to follow.
