

Murrell Ayers Hubbard entered this life on April 29, 1946 to Wilson Thomas Perry and Luberta Ayers Perry. She completed her education in the Catholic school system and afterwards attended Tennessee State University. Murrell was preceded in death by both her parents, her son, Jacob W. Ayers, sister, Darthula Cuesta Bass (Eugene), brother, John Douglas Ayers (Violet), loving aunt Lula M. Hurt, and loving spouse of 15 years, Sam Daniel Hubbard.
Murrell entered into fellowship with the Higher Ground International Church on October 8, 2006 under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Joseph Rice. She served as the Church Secretary and on the Mother's Board until her demise. In September of 2000, Murrell also became a Charter Member of the Upsilon Sigma Philo Organization, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Nashville Chapter. She served in the roles of Recording and Correspondence Secretary for several years. Through all the trials and tribulations of her health in her later years, Murrell soldiered faithfully on.
Murrell generously gave her love to everyone she came into contact with and
received love in return. She leaves to mourn her home-going her devoted GodDaughter Brenda Buren, Sisters-In-Law Elaine (Terry) Jones, Marilyn (Eugene) Jiggitts, Barbara (Stanford) Hubbard, Lyndella (Nathaniel) Hubbard.
Brothers-In-Law Oliver (Naomi) Hubbard, Waverly (Orlean) Hubbard, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
