Nancy Kay Hobdy

Nancy Kay Hobdy, age 74, of Smyrna, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Nancy was born May 29, 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee to her parents, Louis Hobson and Billie Marie Payne Moseley. Nancy was a life insurance underwriter and a member of Lavergne Church of Christ.

Nancy was predeceased in death by her father, Louis Hobson; her mother, Billie Marie Payne Moseley; her husband, James Hodby; ahd her sister, Arrainne Sue Whitehouse.

Nancy is survived by her children Michael Wade Hosford Sr., James Richard Hosford, and Stephanie Michelle Hosford Roberts; by her sister, Sondra Marie (Terrill Dwayne Sr,) Rowland; her brothers, William Austin Moseley and Ronald Louis (Debbie) Moseley; by her grandchildren Presley Hosford, Jackson Hosford, Megan Dirheimer, and Michael Hosford Jr.; by her niece Jennifer (Kyle) Isom; by her great-nieces Kensley and Ava Isom; by her nephews Matthias Moseley, Calder Moseley, Andrew Moseley, K.C. Moseley; by her great-grandchildren Isabella Hosford and Maddox Hosford; by her great- nephew Derrick Shayne Whitehouse; and numerous other relatives and friends.

There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, Tennessee. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:30 AM. Entombment will take place at 1:00 PM, following the Celebration of Life, at the Spring Hill Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Pike South., Nashville, Tennessee.
