

is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol Kalliopi, and his daughters, Sandy (Jim) Golding of
Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Johana (John) Ramsey of St. Peters, Missouri, and Anna (Spyros)
Troussas and Christina (David) Changas, both of Franklin, Tennessee. He is also survived by
his five grandchildren, John Jr. and Joseph Ramsey, and Kate, Luke, and Nicholas Changas,
and several nieces and nephews in Greece and the United States. He was preceded in death
by his father, Constantine Koralis, his mother, Alexandra Koralis, and his siblings, Theodosios
Koralis, Demetrios Koralis, and Eleni Poulias.
Nicholas was born and raised in Athens, Greece. After completing his schooling, he enlisted in
the Greek Air Force as a Radar Specialist. In 1959, at the age of 21, he traveled to the United
States to attend a radar training school in Huntsville, Alabama. He decided to remain in the
U.S., eventually becoming a citizen. He worked at Brown Engineering, then transferred to IBM,
where he spent the rest of his career. His work at IBM eventually took him to Tallahassee,
Florida, where he lived for 35 years. In 2013, he moved to Franklin, Tennessee, to be near
some of his daughters and grandchildren.
Nick was a devout Greek Orthodox Christian and was actively involved in the Greek Orthodox
churches in Tallahassee, Florida and Franklin, Tennessee. He served on the Parish Council and
was a member of the AHEPA at Holy Mother of God Greek Orthodox Church in Tallahassee,
and was an active member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Franklin. He was a
devoted husband, father, and papou (grandfather), and he will be greatly missed.
