

Ouina Beth (Bitsy) Fletcher died at age 88 on December 20, 2016. Bitsy was born in Erin (Houston County) Tennessee on November 3, 1928 to Maynie Irene Jones Roby and Zeph Leslie Roby both deceased. Her husband, Harold Bryan Fletcher and her brother, Roland Roby, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her daughter, Sallie Beth Fletcher Maddin of Nashville and her sister, Joy Roby Black of Jasper, Georgia as well as nieces, nephews and treasured cousins.
Miss Bitsy had a thirty-year banking career at First American National Bank (Regions) in Branch Management retiring as a Vice President. She enjoyed reading, traveling and, particularly, SEC football and basketball and the Nashville Titans. She had a talent for frying oysters and looked forward to the harvests from the Gulf. As a true Southern lady, she made excellent pimento cheese.
Interment and Graveside Services will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park on Tuesday, December 27 at eleven thirty conducted by Gary Wilson Cook of Jackson, Tennessee.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Tuesday at twelve o’clock until one thirty in the afternoon at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Erin Cumberland Presbyterian Church (4793 E. Main Street, Erin TN 37061), Nashville Humane Association (213 Oceola Ave. Nashville 37209) or Susan B. Koman Greater Nashville (4009 Hillsboro Pike Ste. 209 Nashville 37215).
