

Parvin Stone (Peter) Titus, age 95, died January 20, 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born June 13, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Parvin and Ophelia Perkins Titus. A graduate of Walnut Hills High School and the University of Cincinnati, he also served in the U.S. Army. He was an industrial engineering administrator with the RCA Corporation for over 25 years in Cincinnati and Circleville, Ohio. He had also been employed by the Veterans Counseling Center at the University of Cincinnati and Henry Lurie & Associates. A founding member, officer and trustee of the Improvement Institute, he co-edited “The Amazing Oversight: Total participation for productivity”: Graham and Titus (1979), and received the Allan H. Mogensen award for contributions to the field of work simplification in 1986.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Anderson. He is survived by daughter Ann (Timothy Barnes) of Hollywood, MD.; son William S. (Carol) Titus of Nashville, TN; two grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was a member for fifty years of St. Philips Episcopal Church, Circleville.
Memorial services, and burial at Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati will be held at the convenience of the family. Gifts in lieu of flowers may be made to Alive Hospice or Abe’s Garden, Nashville.
