Patricia (Patti) Yolanda Sams stepped into glory peacefully on April 5, 2025 at 61 years of age surrounded by her loving family. Born in Greenville, South Carolina on April 2, 1964, Patti was a loving daughter, devoted aunt, incredible sister and the ultimate dog mom. Patti’s love for family, friends, music, water, her dogs and her flower gardens brought her much joy. Her loving parents, Ronald W. Sams and Dee Ann (Lowe) Sams preceded her in death. Patti is survived by her loving brother, D. Marcelle Sams, wife Melinda (Mindy) Sams, nephew Austin Rayne Sams, and niece Miranda Deeann Sams along with several uncles, aunts, & cousins who loved her deeply. She was an active member of Seymour Heights Christian Church where she enjoyed serving on the worship team, a graduate of Johnson Bible College (Johnson University), and an employee of SNMP Research International, Inc.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 PM on Friday, April 11th at Seymour Heights Christian Church (122 Boyds Creek Hwy, Seymour, TN, 37865) with a friends and family visitation beginning prior to the service at 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts or donations in Patti’s memory may be made to Seymour Heights Christian Church or any animal rescue center in your area.
