Paul Benjamin Booker, age 49, died Monday, June 27, 2016. He was the son of Marion Belle Meadows Booker and the late Charles David Booker, Jr. Paul was born in Omaha, Nebraska, but lived in Nashville most of his life. He was known as a talented musician, a kind, gentle, intelligent man who did not waste words, and one who left a mark on all he met. He is survived by his mother, Marion Booker of Nashville, TN; dearly beloved fiancée, Catherine Hancock of Nashville, TN; sister, Janice Booker Benight (Jeff) of Lakewood, CO; brother, Charles David Booker, III (wife, Elizabeth Koenig) of Everett, WA; nephew, Paul J. Koenig of Cambridge, MA; aunts, Marianne Leach (Charles) of Nashville, TN, Blanche Young (Bob) of Sparta, TN; uncle, John Meadows (Gloria) of Sparta, TN; and many cousins and close friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mount Olivet Funeral Home with interment to follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
