Les is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Brenda Balleu Hasty of Franklin, Tennessee; children, Lori (Grove) Harris of Brentwood, Tennessee, Leeann (Jeff) Hays of Brentwood, Tennessee, Paul Leslie Hasty, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, Jonathan Hasty of Franklin, Tennessee and Matthew (Rachel) Hasty of Brentwood, Tennessee; grandchildren, Katherine (Brent) Boyens, Trey (Morgan) Harris, Connor Harris, Cooper Hays, Will Hays, Charlie Hays, Margot Hasty, Esme Hasty, Kenner Schlitt, Daesie Schlitt and Robbie Rose Hasty and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry (Catherine) Hasty of Brentwood, Tennessee, Connie Spector of Franklin, Tennessee and Phil (Connie) Hasty of Franklin, Tennessee.
Les took over leadership of Paul Hasty & Son Plumbing Company, and grew the business into one that continues to provide for his family. In his younger years, he was a passionate golfer, enjoying countless rounds with his lifelong friends. Later in life, he fell in love with a piece of land in Lawrenceburg, TN, where he passed his time as a gentleman farmer. He maintained that property with the same degree of perfection that was evident in all of his pursuits.
He was a man of unwavering faith, with a deep and abiding love for Jesus Christ. Second, only to his faith, was his love for his family. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, and father. He spent his entire life working to provide for his loved ones. He adored his wife, and all of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a man of integrity, compassion, generosity, with a caretaker’s heart. He lived a simple life, but touched the lives of many. He is so loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at three o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
Due to an increase in Covid cases and for the health and safety of the family and visitors, there will be no visitation prior to the Celebration of Life. The family will remain for a brief period after the service to greet their guests.
