

Pearl Elenor Best Kidwell, age 84, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on November 29, 2024. She was born in Nashville on January 30, 1940, and spent her life contributing to her community and nurturing her family.
Pearl worked as a secretary at Nashville Metro General Hospital. Outside of her career, she was deeply involved in her community, contributing her time and talents as a crafter, and being an active member of the Girl Scouts and SEIU Local 205. Pearl was a lifelong Baptist, having been baptized at the age of 16, and her faith remained a cornerstone of her life.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Ellen Drake, Cynthia (Tony) Jarreld, and Buffie (Wayne) Fox; her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Drake, Nicholas Drake, Brittany Jarreld, Whitney Jarreld, Dallas Fox, Bailee Fox, Chloe Lowry, Kooper Fox, and Emory Fox; and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Bertha Best; and beloved siblings, Robert, Betty Sue, Noble, Royal, and Patricia.
Her family and friends will forever remember Pearl for her kind heart, unwavering faith, and the love she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
A Visitation for Pearl will be held Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. The following day, Visitation will occur Friday, December 6, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:30am, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. Funeral Services will follow Friday, December 6, 2024 beginning at 11:30am.
