Penny Sue Gibson, age 70 of Hermitage, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and John Kyle, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Mike Gibson; daughter, Pamela Denise Strube; granddaughter, Paige Strube; brother, Johnny Kyle, Jr.; sister, Risa Kyle Hester; niece, Kortni (Brian) Businda; nephew, John Wayne Hester. Penny was a member of Hermitage Hills Baptist Church and was retired from Thomas Nelson Publishers. Visitation with the family will be 1 - 3 pm Wednesday, February 22, 2017 with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 3 pm in Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home Chapel with Martha Lee officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nashville Humane Society, 213 Oceola Ave., Nashville, TN 37207.
