Ralph Lee Fawver, 83, native of Tennessee, passed away March 30, 2016. Ralph Lee Fawver was born in Knoxville TN on March 9, 1933. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he earned a degree in accounting and spent many years working as an accountant and financial planner. Ralph married Joyce Anne (Owen) Fawver on February 9, 1964; they were married for 53 years and had two children together. Ralph and Joyce enjoyed outings with friends and family, traveled the world together and, in retirement, even worked together within the travel agency they owned, “Sea the World”. Ralph held the title of President of Travel Agents of Tennessee for two years, and received an honorary lifetime membership. Ralph's favorite travel destinations always included a sunny location. As a couple, they were always active in the community. Ralph was well-loved by everyone he touched during his lifetime. Aside from being an avid traveler (Ralph enjoyed going on cruises), he was known to love stirring up a little harmless trouble with his best friend Ed. Ralph was easygoing, friendly, fun to be around and a little overindulgence was always on the horizon – too much was not enough for Ralph; he lived his life to the fullest. Ralph Lee Fawver is survived by his wife, Joyce; their daughter, Deeanna Lynn; son-in-law, Jimmy Rowlett; son (and namesake), Ralph Lee Fawver II; as well as Ralph's brother, George Rufus; and their beloved dog Georgejedda, who will miss her buddy Ralph. Ralph is preceded in death by sister, Betty Lou; mother, Charles Anna (Turbyville) Fawver; and father, George Rufus Fawver. Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from four to seven o’clock in the evening, and again on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from one-thirty until service time at two-thirty. Entombment to follow – family only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Avalon Hospice of Rutherford County or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and never-ending friendships over the many years. "We were blessed to have had Ralph in our lives."
