Ralph Sidney Hinson was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He passed from this world on October 17, 2022, at age 85.
He was born to James Austin and Minnie Pearl Hinson on April 24, 1937, and graduated from Cohn High School in 1955. Ralph and Lynda Roper Hinson were married on November 23, 1962, and had 2 sons, Michael and Mark.
Ralph worked for over 30 years at American Airlines refueling aircraft. He and Lynda travelled the world together and loved spending time with family. Ralph and Lynda could always be found at the events of their grandchildren. He loved camping with his family and helping his sons with projects. Ralph was an active member of Hillsboro Church of Christ and loved worshipping and working with his church family.
Ralph is survived by his wife Lynda of 60 years; sons Michael (Deborah) Hinson and Mark (Debbie) Hinson; grandchildren Connor Hinson, Nicholas Hinson, Lauren Hinson, Sidney Hinson, and Caroline Hinson; brothers Donald (Mary) Hinson and Kenneth (Anna) Hinson.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hillsboro Church of Christ Chapel, 5800 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN. A memorial service will follow at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hillsboro Church of Christ.
