MATTHEWS, SR., Richard G. Age 71 of Murfreesboro, passed away August 12, 2010. Preceded in death by wife of 49 years, Dora Earlene Matthews. Survived by children, Tony, Chris, Michael, Doobie, & Gregory Matthews & Richard Willis, Era "Kay" Kerr & Linda Sullivan; siblings, Betty Heithcock, Larry Matthews, Patricia Rowden, Brenda Wade & Darlene Campbell; 39 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Richard was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather & friend. Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2010 at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall with Clarence Rowden officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday 3 - 8 p.m. & Sunday 2 - 8 p.m.
