Richard Ted Moores Jr.

Richard Ted Moores Jr., age 72, of Antioch, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Richard was born July 27, 1949 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late, Richard Ted Moores, Sr., and Elinor Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Moores.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sulee "Sue “ Moores of Antioch, Tennessee; daughter, Patricia (Thomas) Holly of Hermitage, Tennessee; son, William (Crystal) Moores of Antioch, Tennessee; eleven Grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sisters, Katie (Jeff) Waymouth of Methuen, Massachusetts and Stevie McHenry of Malvern, Arkansas; uncle, Michael (Nanette) Moores of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and 11 nieces and Nephews.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from four until eight in the evening on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning on Friday, August 20,2021 at St. George Episcopal Church, 4715 Harding Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37205.

A Graveside Inurnment will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at eleven o'clock in the morning at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

He was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. Ted was a Retired US Airforce, SMSGT (E-8) with 21 years of Service.
