She lived a long and meaningful life marked by devotion to those she loved, quiet strength, and countless cherished memories that will forever be held close by her family and friends.
Born on September 16, 1938, in Christiana, Tennessee, Robbie was raised with the values of hard work, faith, and family; she learned from an early age the importance of perseverance, tenacity, and integrity.
Robbie approached every role she held with dedication and integrity, earning the respect of those who worked alongside her and the deep gratitude of those she served. She retired from the State of Tennessee after more than thirty-eight years of faithful service as an Administrative Assistant to Superintendents at both Clover Bottom Developmental Center and Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute. Throughout her career, Robbie took great pride in serving others behind the scenes, offering steady support in all that she did.
She was deeply devoted to her family and took immense pride in watching generations grow. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her children, Tina and Tiffany, and her grandchildren, Christina, Tyler, McKenzie, and Tate, each of whom carry forth her strength and enduring spirit.
In addition to her love for family, Robbie was an enthusiastic sports fan. Whether it was watching the Titans, the Braves, Vanderbilt, or cheering on one of her grandchildren, she rarely missed a game. She found joy in the excitement of competition, the traditions that came with each season, and the simple pleasure of gathering with others to cheer on those she loved. Watching a game with Robbie meant passion, commentary, and a whole lot of heart. Everyone knew that she played the role of loyal fan just as seriously as she played every other role in her life.
Though she will be deeply missed, her strength, love, faith, and enduring legacy remain a guiding light, living in the hearts of all who knew her.
