Mr. Bratcher was born on November 17, 1932, the son of the late Samuel Nathan Bratcher and Ruby Druscilla Pitt Bratcher. Mr. Bratcher owned and operated a tile company for many years and retired as a truck driver with Venture. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bratcher was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Mildred Blankenship, Nathan Bratcher, Elizabeth Fama, Howard Bratcher, Herbert Bratcher, Bill Bratcher, and Everett Bratcher.
Survivors include his children, Gene (Wenonah) Bratcher, Sharon Orlovich, Steve (Vicki) Bratcher, Terry (John) Jackson, and Tammy (Lester) Dill; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and his brothers and sisters, Christine Grady, David Bratcher, Marie and Richard Resha, and Sylvia Adams.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at two thirty, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from noon until the funeral hour at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
