Robert Hughes Cherry, Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee, age 73, died February 19, 2016 at Vanderbilt Hospital after a long illness. He was born April 5, 1942 in Nashville,TN. He was the son of the late Robert Hughes Cherry Sr. and Margaret Susannah Walton. Survived by his wife Gloria Banasiewicz Cherry; daughters, Susannah Beard (Richard) and Emily Cary (Bill); grandchildren, Walker Cary and Callie Beard; sister, Susan Kelly; along with many beloved nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from eleven to one o’clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home followed by a celebration of Hughes’ life at one o’clock.
