LANDERS, Robert J. We say farewell to a wonderful husband, dad, and grand dad who left us on the 22nd of June 2011. He is survived by his wife, Betty Selph, children Whispering Eagle (Cheri), Debbie and David, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Bob was born in Morton, MN, graduated from Peabody College and flew for the Navy for 20 years. His second passion was scouting. He was an Eagle Scout as was his son and 3 grandsons. His love of the Navy and scouting is only surpassed by his love of God, family and friends. Visitation will be held from eleven until one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 24th of June, on the upper level of Forest Hills Methodist Church. The service will immediately follow in the sanctuary at one o’clock, with Pastor Jim Hughes officiating. Pallbearers include: Dale Paxton, Sean Paxton, Christopher Paxton, Chad Frey, Ryan Clark and Tommy Miller. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forest Hills U. M.
