Ronald Allen Randolph, 60, of Nashville, TN passed away Tuesday June 12, 2018. Ron was born in Parkersburg, WV on January 11, 1958, son of the late Kenneth Clay and Gracefern Margaret Randolph. He was a graduate of Triadelphia High School and attended West Liberty College. His passion for music led him to become the director and producer of Jamboree in the Hills; later, he became an audiovisual professional.
Ron was an adventurer who never shied away from new experiences. He loved nature, music, travel, and working with his hands. Never one to waste a beautiful day, Ron could only be paused long enough to watch a racecar event. Amongst his many hobbies being on the water was his favorite. Fishing, water skiing, barbequing; if it could be done on a boat, it meant a day at the lake. Given the time, he could conquer any task, and if asked, would always help those who needed him the most. He would joke that he was a “jack of all trades, master of none,” but to those who knew and loved him, certainly, his best quality was making friends. Ron didn’t believe life to be a series of coincidences, but rather a tapestry of perfect and imperfect moments, woven together to create a beautiful harmony of existence. Ron was above all an exceptional brother, father, husband, jokester, and friend, and he will always remain that to those who’s lives he touched.
Ron is survived by his wife, Lisa Blick Randolph and two children, Kenneth Joseph and Anna Claire, all of Nashville, TN; siblings David Thomas of Moundsville, WV, William of Sacramento, CA, and Norma of Asheville, NC; step-son Joe and step granddaughter Rhealee DiOrio of Greenbrier, TN.
Family of Ron will receive friends on Friday, June 22 from 4-8 p.m. at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Ln., Nashville, TN, 37204. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, June 23 at 2:30 p.m. at the same location.
