Sister Robert Ann, a native of Nashville, was the daughter of the late Robert G. and Margaret Connor Britton of Nashville.
She entered the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia in 1952, making profession of vows in 1953. Sister Robert Ann served for over 50 years in teaching and administrative potions in Catholic schools staffed by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia, as well as in administrative roles within the congregation.
She is survived by five nephews: Andrew Catignani of Memphis, and Christopher, Daniel, John and Robert Catignani all of Nashville.
Visitation will be held at St. Cecilia Convent on Wednesday, November 26 from 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 3:30 pm in the convent chapel. Burial will follow in the convent cemetery.
