Svetlana Akhumova

She is preceded in death by her father, Ashot Akhumov; mother, Nora Simonyan Akhumova and sister, Evelyna Akhumova.

She is survived by her sister, Aida Akhumova, brother, Rauf Akhumov, sister-in-law, Natalya Akhumova, nieces, Marina Arteaga and Svetlana Akhumova, nephew, Feliks Akhumyan.

She had a truly curious mind and a noble heart. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and cooking, one of her most favorite things. Most of her life she spent educating and guiding young minds. She was a great teacher who was loved and adored by her students. She was one of those educators who truly cared to make a difference in her students lives! A true woman, who would never leave the house without makeup, jewelry and dressing up no matter where she went and how she felt. Svetlana will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

A visitation for Svetlana will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Mount Olivet Funeral Home, Nashville, Tennessee, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM.

Svetlana will be laid to rest in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville, Tennessee.
