Theresa B. Thomas, age 91, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2014. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Thomas; daughter, Caroline Thomas and son, Steven A. Thomas. She is survived by her children, Maria (Ron) Franks, Jeff (Blanche) Thomas, Andrew Thomas, Michael (Martina) Thomas, Mark Thomas, Jenny (David) Dobson, John Thomas; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and brother, Ferdinand Manndorff. Theresa trained and served as a nurse during WWII. She was an avid cyclist, reader and enjoyed knitting. She spent the majority of her career as a waitress at the Elliston Place Soda Shop for 25 years. A gathering for family and friends will be held from three until eight o’clock in the evening on Sunday, the 10th of August, 2014 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Monday, the 11th of August at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Nashville, TN.
