Mr. Young was born in Vientiane, Laos on January 1, 1939. He retired from Nortel Telecom. Survivors include his wife, Vanh Young; four daughters, Neda Young, Stephanie Gregory, Amy (David) Locke, and Jennifer (Shawn) Sisouphanh; two sons, Toby (Melanie) Young and Steve Young; two sisters; two brothers; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at eleven o’clock, Crievewood Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday from three o’clock until eight o’clock at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Saturday from nine o’clock until the funeral hour at the church.
