
Wallace Alexander (Sandy) Latimer, Jr. passed away January 9, 2012 in Houston, TX from diabetes complications. Sandy was born on August 23, 1947 in Nashville, TN to Jean Weber Latimer and Wallace A. Latimer. He attended Father Ryan High School in Nashville and Western Kentucky University where he played baseball. He worked for Adobe Equipment for the past fourteen years at their dealerships in Colorado and Texas. He was an avid golfer and fisherman throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his father, Wallace A. Latimer and his grandparents, Bess Brown Latimer and Cy Wallace Latimer and Christine Fagan Weber and Frank Adam Weber, all of Nashville, TN. He is survived by his son, Wallace A. Latimer III (Elizabeth) Tigard, OR; daughter, Shawn Pico (Efrain) Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Sarah Ascencio, Tucson, AZ; six grandchildren, Brittany Latimer, Harrison Latimer, Kirsten Pico, Sierra Pico, Karina Latimer and Marcus Latimer and one great-grandchild, Gavin Latimer, his brothers, Robert W. Latimer (Jeanne) San Antonio, TX and Christopher L. Latimer (Marilyn) The Woodlands, TX, nieces Price Latimer Agah, Los Angeles, CA, Sarah Latimer Hager, San Antonio, TX, Alexandra Latimer, San Antonio, TX, Merideth Latimer Wood, San Antonio, TX and Rose Kathleen Latimer, The Woodlands, TX, nephews Robert W. (Roby) Latimer, Jr., San Antonio, TX and Christopher L. (Clay) Latimer, Jr., The Woodlands, TX and two great nieces, Avery Wood and Wallis Hager. A remembrance of his life will be held at the Hilton Houston North, 12400 Greenspoint Dr., Houston, TX on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 6-8 pm. Visitation will be at 10:30 am Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home, 201 25th Avenue North, Nashville, TN followed by a burial service at Calvary Cemetery, Nashville, TN at 12 pm.
