I was friends with Sandy in grade school. My Mom was bookeeper for his Dad's Olds dealership in Dickson. I can still see the redwood house with the big carport and basketball goal in East Hills where they lived. As a pre-teen I remember his swagger; the girls liked him and his saddle oxfords, freckles, flat top with a cowlick and all. He had an infectuous sideways grin. And he was a good basketball player. We were altar boys together at St.Christopher's in Dickson. I remember Sandy being in the habit of muttering mild expletives like gosh darn or gall whatever and the priest telling him it was high time he went to confession........I am sorry about his passing -- along about middle school I lost track.

I worked with Sandy at Forklift Systems in Colorado Springs and I'm glad I had the opportunity to know him. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family.

So sorry to hear about Sandy.  I remember him very well from our days at Ryan.  Praying for God's comfort for the family and that Sandy is at rest.

Although I attended St Joseph and Sandy Holy Rosary, I vividly remember our days at Ryan. 

Unfortunately, after graduation, Sandy went off to college while I attended business school here locally. He then left Nashville to further his career. 

Outside of school, our paths crossed only twice. One, in the late sixties, in the parking garage of the old downtown movie theater, THE TENNESSEE as we escorted our dates home. 

And, second, at the 40th class reunion in 2005.

Sandy, may you rest in peace.

Very sorry to hear about a Father Ryan 1965 Classmate-  Sandy was always very funny, and  a good guy.  Later in life, he always remarked that he was from " San Anton "

I grew up with Sandy in Donelson. We both attended Holy Rosary Academy in Donelson and Father Ryan High School in Nashville. I spent many a day at Sandy's house and playing baseball. We shared some teams in Little League.

I never knew where Sandy went after Ryan. College, the US Navy and Ford Motor Co. took me away from Nashville.

He was a good friend and a real good baseball player. He will be well remembered by his Donelson friends,
