

Survived by wife of 72 years, Wilma Robinson Savage; daughter, Charlyne Savage; son-in-law, Clif Smith; niece, Ann (Jerry) Wilson; nephew, John Steven Conger; great-niece, Kate Conger; great-nephew, John Kirk Conger.
Dr. Savage served in the U.S. Army in Germany during W.W. II. He received a degree in Engineering from Cumberland University & a Dental degree from UT Memphis in 1950. He practiced Dentistry for 35 years retiring in 1985. He was a member of the American Dental Society. His hobby was growing orchids and he enjoyed giving them away. He enjoyed riding motorcycles & flying airplanes. He was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church.

A celebration of his life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Dr. Bill Sherman, Hubert Raines & Dr. Jon Roebuck officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn’s Cross Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to Woodmont Baptist Church.
