Wayne Estle Tucker Sr.

Wayne E. Tucker, Sr., age 85, a native of Coffee Co. was born to Clyde & Georgia Ellen Tucker on January 29, 1935. He passed away on August 27, 2020 in Smyrna, Tennessee. Wayne is also preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Peggy); siblings, Lyda Stubblefield, Denton Edward Tucker, and Mitchell Tucker. He is survived by son, Wayne E. Tucker, Jr. (Angie); daughters, Angela Ramsey (Steve), Melissa Turrentine (Roy) and Tara Ann Smith (Brad); grandchildren, Jessica, Shaun, Jacob, Andrew, and JosEllen; great-grandchildren, Abbi, Aveona, Stephen, Evan, Alexis, Alec, and Cadance; great-great grandchildren, AJ and Hennessie; and siblings, Zelda Ludlum, Patrilla Tucker, Delphine Tucker, and James Tucker.

Wayne loved old cars, western movies, and collecting knives. He especially enjoyed tinkering around and working on projects. He looked forward to his monthly gathering of high school friends at the Lone Oak Restaurant. Wayne worked in the bindery department at Baird Ward Printing Company. Wayne was a tenderhearted, never in a hurry, and loving man. His warm smile will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, American Heart Association, or Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
