Bill was a quiet and shy man that exuded strength.  He was a man of integrity with high ideals and values.  He was loyal, dependable, humble, and always ready to help others when needed.  Bill loved his family and friends.  He provided opportunities for his children so they could meet the challenges to make a difference in our world.  He was compassionate and giving.  I always felt he was like an anchor in a storm.  He will be missed and always have a place in the hearts of all of us who had the privilege of calling him friend.  "What a man!"  Not perfect by any means, but authentic to the core.

Bill has brought a gentle, certain, steadiness to our family since he joined us and even more so for me in the last 15 years.  I am so glad that Laura and Libby got to know and love him as well.  He will be very missed.  Love, Linda

I extend my deepest sympathy to Bill's family and close friends.  I counted him as my friend for nearly 50 yrs and especially during the 37 yrs I was priviledged to work with Bill in the Farm Bureau and the Tennessee Agricultural Museum.

Well, if he was anything like the son he raised, he was a great, great man.  Wish I could be there with you Billy and Shari.  Soon, I hope.  As the Tlingit say, "Be strong.  Stand tall."

I never met the man, but I feel I know him through a wonderful daughter.  Sister Mary Claire talked of him many times and I feel I have visited a time or two.  Prayers and thoughts to the family.

To the Strasser Family, May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

My deepest sympathies to the Strasser family. An amazing and peaceful man with a great love for his family and those closest to him. I have fond memories at the house in my youth with Bill, Donna and Sister Mary Claire. Bill, you will always be remembered with love.

Bill has been a good uncel and farmer.  I have very much enjoyed all of Bill's corn and tomators over the years.

Bill, you are a great man and role model. You gave us a life-long example of how to cultivate, grow, give and love. Your faith and service generated rewards that will continue to benefit many for generations to come.
