William Wolff Corbitt born on February 15, 1927 in Nashville, TN to Nellie and John Corbitt, passed away on December 21, 2016 in Nashville, TN. He is also preceded in death by siblings, John Corbitt, Anthony Corbitt, Ann Thompson, Helen Castleman and Jeanette Rhea.
William is survived by loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy L. Corbitt; children, Teresa Corbitt, Mary Smith, Linda Grube, Lisa Powers and William W. Corbitt, Jr.; grandchildren, Michael Grube, Ashley Corbitt and Grant Smith; great-grandchildren, Rosalie Grube and Eli Grube.
William enjoyed spending time with his children, traveling, and especially spending time at school functions and activities for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ken Smith, Devery Powers, Tom Grube, Grant Smith and Michael Grube will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home. Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
