He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Roxie W. Treadway; son William (Alan) Treadway Jr.; and grandson William (Will) Alan Treadway III.
Bill Treadway’s remarkable life included; graduation from Nashville’s historic Duncan Preparatory School, and Vanderbilt University School of Civil Engineering. He served in the US Air Force’s Strategic Air Command at bases in North Africa, Northern England and Florida. Later Bill would go on to a long storied career in Project Engineering at Ford Motor Company’s Nashville Glass Plant. Bill was also a 32nd Degree Free Mason and a member of the Shriners.
His loss to his loved ones and friends cannot be measured, but his memory will be held in our minds and hearts always.
Celebration of life service will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at one o’clock in the afternoon, at Woodlawn.
Visitation will be held at the Woodlawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from eleven o’clock until one o’clock, followed by services conducted by Minister Will Sensing at the Woodlawn Chapel.
