Willie Charlean Voorhies Taylor, age 91, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Hugh J Taylor. Willie is survived by her children, Hugh J Taylor, Jr. (Billie), Terry Taylor, Barbara Preuett (Perry), and Penny Harris; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Willie retired from Bellsouth in 1997. She was an avid bowler at Tusculum Lanes for more than 50 years. Willie was loved dearly by her family and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with a one hour visitation prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alive Hospice Residence.
