He was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Jane Dorney Black of fifty-six years, and son-in-law, Steve Sloan.
Zearl had 25 years of service with Genesco. He also was a WWII veteran. Zearl and Jane won many awards with the GWRRA. They traveled twice through 48 states, logging over 300,000 miles on the bike.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015, at 2:00 pm at Mount Olivet Funeral Home with Jerry Morton officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
