Mr. Alejandro Rodriguez

Mr. Alejandro Rodriguez, 87 died on March 1, 2017, with his family by his side in National City, CA. He was born on July 24, 1929, in Laredo, TX to Gerardo and Enriqueta Rodriguez. He joined the military in 1945 and moved to San Diego, CA in 1960.

Mr. Rodriguez, an electrician by trade, was also known for being a "handyman" he loved to tinker with many things around the house including his cars. No job was too big for him. He also had a green thumb, he loved to plant different types of trees; his favorite, mango and avocado. He loved to dance with his beautiful wife and was an avid member of the local VFW. He had recently gotten to know the pandora music app and loved to listen to his favorite music. Although he has gone, his spirit will live on in each one of us forever. He was and will ALWAYS be our hero.

Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his sister, Raquel Talamantes; his four daughters, Anita, Laura, Zulema, and Cynthia; three sons, Alex, Reyes and Mario; thirty-three grandkids and many, many great-grandkids and a couple of great-great-grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his wife Emma Rodriguez of 59 years, his brother Gerardo Rodriguez and his sister Maria del Carmen Rodriguez; his sons Jose "Pepe" Luis, Enrique Lucio and his daughter Edna Irma Rodriguez; his grandkids Anthony, Enrique, Christina and Sylvia Rodriguez.
