Maria Esther King, age 85, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2022. She was born on September 12, 1936 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Ricardo Fournier and Juana Cruz. Maria was a beautiful woman, both inside and out, and loved to love on people. There wasn’t a single person that didn’t love her, and that was made more evident with the outpouring of love and support we have received.
Maria is a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to raising her family and was a living example of one of her favorite Bible verses, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
Maria is survived by her loving husband Alfredo O. King; her three children Jose A. King, Richard King and Nellie Toro; and grandchildren and great grandchildren, all whom loved her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace and undying love and caring for them.
