Paulina Figueroa

Paulina was born in Compuertas, Coahuila Mexico on July 12, 1926 and passed away on March 20, 2019.

Paulina was a devoted minister’s wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was married to Augustin Garcia Figueroa Lara in a Civil Ceremony on January 30, 1958 and in a church ceremony at the Torreon Church of Christ on February 1, 1958. Together they shared 5 children, Augustin Jr, Claude, Sarah, Mildred, and Guillermo; thirteen grandchildren, Sara, Gilbert, James, Tifany, Sean, Mark, Daryl, Nathan, Eric, Valerie, Steven, Kimberly, and Sabrina; and four great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Brandon, Sara, and Abigail.

Paulina was a graduate from Academia de Secretarias de Gomez Palacio and also received a Certificate in Office Administration from Pitman College.

In addition to helping anyone in need, Paulina had many hobbies and passions. She loved to read her Bible, pray, garden, cook, crochet, knit, journal, and take photos. In fact, there probably wasn’t a time that she didn’t have a camera in her hands. Paulina also loved to watch ice skating, gymnastics, and ballroom dancing…and speaking of things she liked to watch, if you ever called on a weekday between 7-8pm she wouldn’t answer or she’d keep the conversation VERY short; that’s when Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy were on.
